Sometimes here, sometimes there...
Just back from a 3,800 mile lap of Spain and Portugal. In the middle of the trip, we took a 3 night/2 day break to ride some of Andalucia's trails with Phil Wood of Riders of the Lost Trail.

Here's what one of our group wrote as a testimonial on RotLT's website...

"Does this only go as high as a 5 star rating? I'd give it a 10! Not sure how I want to write this but I'll begin with a huge thank you to Phil. What an amazing 3 nights - 2 days we had. The riding was incredible and I KNOW we saw very little of what you can offer!!!!
For those reading this, let me begin with our group. We had five rider ranging from NO off road experience to one that was pretty darn good. We all felt like we were pushed to our limits (and a bit past but I have to say Phil read our abilities perfectly). He did challenge us - and we complained at the time but cheered at our accomplishments! Even our best rider was taken on a few excursions alone which he came back whipped and exhilarated at the same time!!!
For the lesser skilled rider -- you're going to love this. Phil can show you some beautiful trails that are challenging enough but not overwhelming. If you want more -- NO problem. For the more advanced rider -- you're going to have a BLAST. Just to see a peek of what is out there was amazing. I certainly wasn't ready for some of that but watching Phil was an inspiration. There are many places that the more adventurous can shoot off and do some extreme hill climbs while the sane riders took the trail around!
I tried both the KTM and Suzuki (like the Suzuki better! which surprised me). All the bikes were in great condition as the gear so well although I'm still not feeling the capri pant look on me! :-)
Accommodations -- we rented the farmhouse since our group was large. Was fantastic and thank you to the owners. Wonderful spot - highly recommend if it's available.
Bottom line -- I'm happy for anyone to contact me with questions. I can easily say you will NOT be disappointed. You will be dirty and tired but hey, that's what it's all about. Would I do this again - YES and I hope I'm able to. I live in California so that won't be easy but if I have the chance - absolutely.
On our first day out, we went over a rocky gravel road area. I was slow and cautious as not use to this surface- new bike, etc. By the end of day 2 I was FLYING down this at 4x the speed thinking - Wow and I thought this was tough yesterday! Piece of cake!
Truly, a great experience."

Take it from me, Phil's operation takes some beating!
