Riding to Casablanca and back this week??

What conditions might I expect?

Ice and snow

Or just cold and wet

Will Morocco be cold or warm?

How do you get across the border again? Is it just a few stamps at a couple of counters? How do you buy insurance (I have got BMW so it won't cover morocco)?

Thinking of going on Friday and back by 23rd. Doable?

I agree, it would be a very poor introduction to Morocco although you could find the old coast road I suppose, else as Whatton says, you'll be just riding down a motorway.
I'd rather ride to Azrou and back

The short trip to really to see off two of my mates who are on the Africa Rally. They need to get to Casablanca for the 23rd to catch a ferry to Dakar.

They set off in their clapped out Panda yesterday so I will be just blitzing down to meet up and (hopefully not tempted .. to continue with them to Cameroon) back home.

What do you think? Just go easyjet?

If you're riding down then you'll come past us, sort of, half way down France and it's dry but cold here with snow forecast for Friday.
Temperatures range from 0 - 4 this week and into the minuses overnight.

I walked back from the Pub last night with a Chinese , it only took me about 5 mins and it was freezing ....

How are you going to manage 2 full days ......................
