Just a tip for anyone who needs to adjust the right hand mirror stalk - may save some tears. The locking nut is reverse-threaded.

Does the locknut have a groove round the outside of it??? That signifies a RH Thread (or is it LH thread? I can never remember which is the normal one)...
Can't say I noticed. I will have a look at some stage.

Just an observation re the mirrors. Got a new one for mine in the summer and ordered the wrong side
But realised just turn the head round
so the actual mirrors are the same both sides, just incase anyone looking for a second hand one..
