I must admit when I use mine, I put them on the bike and give them a good tug. I do remember measuring the locating pin from a previous article and using a bit of superglue to make sure it did not move again. Even when riding there always appears to be a bit of movement with the panniers, and since reading these articles its made me even more paranoid
