Right Helmet + Right Comms = Bliss!

Kevin W have you watched this tutorial on U-tube ? I still dont know how to post the link so a screenshot is the best I can do.

We've not have a problem getting the music from my iPhone 8+ to share, the problem is it keeps stopping, then it'll start again, play quickly as if it's trying to catch up, play normally for a while then start the cycle again. The bloke in the shop we bought it from insists it's a setup issue. I honestly can't see how that's the case and he freely admits he doesn't use his in that mode. My wife is going to take them up to him next week to see if he can get it to work properly but as much as we want them to work I doubt it's going to happen.

If the music isn't being shared it works most of the time but still occasionally goes through the cycle above.

I've just bought a Cymarc toolbox purely so I have somewhere to mount the Autocom because that just works.

Kevin W maybe load music onto Nav 6 and play from there instead of from phone, could ease the conflicts between nav and phone stopping the the music when sat nav speaks instructions ?

Have you investigated streaming music from phone to Nav 6 as in this video ?

Regarding volume levels of devices..... I've found you can manage without the Cardo phone App to control/alter various device volume levels:
by adjusting the roller wheel whilst that particular 'thing' is heard through headset ie (sat nav) or a person is talking (comms) or a song is playing (phone) or radio on headset. You've got to be quick with the roller wheel to catch the nav though as it's a quick burst of
"turn left at the next junction"
To 'mute' anything press the top of the roller wheel in as it is hinged and the top incorporates a micro switch, this is easily done by mistake if a clumsy gloved hand presses too hard on roller wheel whilst attempting to alter volume levels and 'mutes' everything.

Monty B, good that you’ve found the right set up for you.
But I’m pretty sure the Klim Krios is just a rebranded Nishua Enduro Carbon, which can usually be had for €220 ish !

I'd probably reverse that and say the Nishua is a cheap copy of the Klim.

Gloss prereg carbon, opposed to hand laid matte, missing a Koroyd inner shell, standard fastener instead of Fidlock (which is truly useful), non adjustable chin vent, no spare/Transitions visor and missing a lifetime guarantee.

To be fair, it's like comparing a BMW 520D with an F90 M5 - they look the same (ish).

So, reliable and comfortable , get the Nishua, small cock and ‘look at me’, get the Klim ?
Gotcha :-)

You said 'pretty sure'. Unfortunately you couldn't have been more wrong. Maybe research before posting bollocks?

After that, what exactly are you adding to a thread?

Feel free to PM me a photo of your cock, cock.

Sorry, didn’t realise you had no sense of humour .
A load of us bought the Nishua helmet a few years ago when it was pointed out that Nishua made the helmet and Klim rebadged it and doubled the price . Bit like BMW do when they rebrand a Garmin a Nav6 and add £200.

Anyway, it’s great you have the perfect setup. Enjoy the M5 of helmets.
