I'm talking about email.
Recently, when having a mail clearout, I flagged all the mail titles and senders so as to quickly ID the mails to save and anything unflagged would be trashed.
I now find many mails have mixed content , i.e several different senders/mail content in numerous different mail titles. With me so far?
Example, it could be a mail from here reminding me of subs, or at least that's where the pane suggests the mail comes from, but upon opening the mail it could be an enquiry to a business, or a conversation with a friend, a mail from DVLA etc etc , or all 3 of those (different senders) all inside the wrong sender mail.
Has this ever happened to you?
How has this happened?
Is there any way to reverse/correct what I don't know I've done wrong?

The other prob at the moment is that my mail keeps being received twice. I can see no way how to stop exporting mail from all accounts, only a table to enable exporting.
To add to the confusion, when checking all mail I note that some mails have perhaps 10 or 15 identical mails, all are copies of the original received mail.....I mean, wtf?????
Time was when mail was simple, using Outlook, but that was long ago. Since moving over to WinLive mail and Gmail it's never been the same.
It doesn't matter whether I use the Mac for reading mail or my PC, they still get duplicated.
