Being bored I found myself walking arround the motorcycle shop area of Singapore last night (Asia always has its shop set out so everything is in one area for one type of thing, want a toilet go to the plumbing streets... all very convenient) came across a shop that had set of aluminium panniers from Rimowa, that very expensive German luggage company, the price including brackets is about 330 pounds, actually cheaper that the pukka BMW ones here. As the GS is a rare bike here they need 45 days to get the brackets, but first I have a couple of questions as the shop assistant was a bit vague..
Firstly I was looking at the left hand pannier, there was no indent for the exhaust? so either they sit wide or maybe there is a special one out the for the GS? anybody any experience with these panniers. The build quality is fantastic they look the the dogs watsits for sure. I would appreciate any feed back on these bit of bling, mayne any German GSers have experiemce with this product?.
