Risers on an 2004 ADV

Anybody who has fitted risers on a ADV, (2004 model, with stainless hoses) had to move the brake and clutch lines 'under' the handlebars as opposed to 'over' the handlebars as standard?

Nope.......mine stayed where they were originally, and don't seem to be stretched at all.

me neither. Had ttech risers and then ricky bars.

I think I had to cut a zip tie on on of the electric cables, but thats all.

I fitted the Wunderlich 25mm risers to my 04 GSA without any mods at all.

Like Spanish Bob said, just cut a couple of zip ties either side of the headstock to allow the cables/pipes to flex a little more thats all.

Got mine from Nippy Norman - raises the bars and brings them back towards you, no mods required, lovely and comfy now and very nice quality and service too
