Risers?

Do these simply bolt on as a replacement or do you have to reroute cables etc..?

Any handling differences?

I have just got some risers from Nippy and Steptoe fitted them for me, they seem to be just what I wanted,able to sit back on the seat and still reach the bars.

Put on the Tobinators at the same time, can see that they will need experimentation

I got mine from Nippy Norman yesterday, it took me the whole of 2mins to fit (only because I stopped for a tea break)

No cable re-routing, no messing around.
Have since done 250 miles in pure comfort.

They look good, they work well, had good service from NN and at a fair price.

I wish it was always that easy

So I now have a spare set of the 1" RISE and 1-1/4" setback (came too far back for my long arms) which I can either post back to NN for a refund or if someone out there wants to save the £2.99 postage from NN I will sell them to you for £24.99 and cover the postage myself.

Any offers?

We seem to be selling 50% of each size of Moto Tech's risers and it is only when they are tried on the bike that riders can see what suits. Even the smaller type make quite a big difference.

bar risers

I bought & fitted the risers about 1000 miles ago and they have transformed the bike for me. It's a much more comfortable ride and what I thought was the early signs of arthritis turns out to be me stretching to reach the bars!
Also the service is very good, Norman does like a chat so if you have questions give him a bell.

I fitted my risers awhile ago as well transformed my bike
much better riding postion no stretching
I also got good service from Norman (oooer)
Just to add I did have to change my front brake line found it was a bit stretched for my liking
Goodridge braided front brake line got the feel of the brake lever, use to it, like it
also fitted wide tail lights from Normans as well pish easy to fit
