Looking for an emergency torch light that sticks while you work on your stuff, look no further! The all new "kickstart winner at Dealer Expo" for best innovative product 2009!

A Powerful Spotlight With hundreds of Uses - 12 Rare Earth Magnets Let You Stick It Anywhere. Though not much smaller than a golf ball, the new Risk Racing® Magnetic LED “Light-Mine” is a powerful spotlight that can be used almost anywhere you need illumination.

It is small enough to fit into tight areas and aim a powerful beam of light where it is needed most. Because of its 12 rare earth magnets, it also works as a “pick up” tool for dropped screws, nails and hardware.

The ‘Light-Mine’ is powered by three alkaline button cell batteries. If used for short stints, the batteries rejuvenate between uses and will last for approximately 20 hours. If turned on continuously, the charge lasts about 10-11 hours. The batteries are replaceable.

Oops, can't PM you, you need to become a sponser first

Well perhaps you should sponsor the site before coming in here selling your tat . Personally I think this kind of thread is just as offensive as spam and I am sorry to see UKGSERs feeding this kind of commercial hi jacking of the site .

while in principle I would agree, he did post his tat in the vendors of innovation thread that states "If you have an idea or product you have Designed & Developed and wish to share with other GSer’s post it here."

Fair enough I would say :nenau

Although it does look like cheap tat :D Rare earth magnets indeed. What next, healing crytals for the GS-er?

Petzl

In further defence of the original poster, the rare earth moniker is scientifically correct and not a hippy buzz word (assuming he's not lying about the type of magnet). Only a limited number of elements display permanent magnetism, iron is common one, but others include the so-called rare earth metals. Magnets based on these (generally stronger that iron magnets pound for pound) are referred to as rare earth magnets.

:comfort I know, I am a mining engineer by background, also have a bit of rare earth around the area here. Just taking the proverbial mickey. Should have put a few of the available smilies in there for clarification :augie:D:blagblah

And are not supposed to affect mobile phones,(not sure how it works with the polarity effect?) ie they are used on magnetic tank bag fastenings.

too quick on the draw there:blast

Head torch here as it helps to shine the light where you are looking so when you are not looking at the area requiring work and are looking at something else it is illuminated:blast

But then everybody knows that.:augie

:D

PS can ETmoto phone home and get £12.00

Just a thought, where ever you put that it's going to pick up every little bit of metal shavings and general toolbox detritus, so unless you are going to keep it in its own little sealed bag (not supplied) it's not going to stick to much when you want to use it. IMHO :aidan

+1 for a head torch :thumb2

DELETE DELETE THIS IS TAKING THE PISS

He's not a GSER or even a biker but a internet sales man scum:ymca
He's not the inventor he's the sales man scum:ronno
He's not a developer he's a sales man with a doggy internet connection waiting to scam us all, in a far the off east, singapore. no redress

The vendors section is for an idea or product you have Designed & Developed not for reselling items you can buy elsewhere with relative ease( a little leeway is given for site sponsors who resell useful GS related products as long as they don't spam the section).

You don't need to be a sponsor to show your product off... but that product should be inventive and related to the type of biking this site is about.

Anyone showing stuff in the vendors section should not then use the thread to conduct their sales.... that's what your own website is for or if you are a site sponsor PMing
The vendors section and posts in it is for really for questions and answers about your product not for conducting any sales as such.

etmoto I've deleted your other thread in here selling indicators... it's really just an ad.... i let this thread stay as it was very borderline and i'd not seen the product before... it was a very tenuous link to GS'ing and i gave you the benefit of the doubt... please bare this in mind in future

I did say I thought it was cheap tat :thumb2 I'm all for getting rid of dodgy sales threads, this being one of them I admit.

Agree with Tuned's clarification so I'm ok either way. I'm always open to see new stuff. :beerjug: Blatant sales spam, no and should be :rocketwho
