I have managed to upload Road Trip onto my new MacBook Pro. But the maps are less detailed than Mapsource. OK for the main roads but no back roads or street detail. Is this just a disadvantage of Road Trip over Mapource or is there a solution?

Bottom right, little slider for detail. It defaults to medium, but i can see everything around here if I whack it up to full.

I downloaded and installed Gamin BaseCamp on my Mac last night. Initial impressions are very good and performance is miles better. 3D and 2D views. Previous information I had entered in RoadTrip was automatically imported into BaseCamp.

I've got both Basecamp and Road Trip and can't get any detail at all. On Basecamp I keep getting a pop-up asking me to buy detailed maps. Is this instead of Mapsource maps?

My maps are at least 3 years old but with just having the Mac I don't know of anyway of uploading new maps to the Zumo.

Still no solution I'm afraid. I have Basecamp too, but haven't used so no help there either :blast Fat lot of good I'm I hear but hopefully someone with more intelligence will come along.

I took the bike and the 660 to France recently and it followed a nice pre-planned route I had done on Road Trip and it took me on D roads I hadn't expected so perhaps Road Trip can set a route just not show it on the Mac ?
