Totally sick of the weather so headed off round a few bike shops,-

First JC BMW.dundee. no salesman in today? seemed a bit strange.Anyway checked out a few bikes realised i didn't have enough cash to buy anything so headed off.

Second stop,Drysdale KTM,to try and get baffles for akraprovic cans. Also lusted over ADV.R.

Next visit,-Perth motorcycles, New Honda dealer, showroom just about finished, had good crack with the lads there, didn't buy anything.

Last visit,Forfar,Angus Classic bikes, A mint Honda, xl250s,the bike i would have bought in a minute But a big BUT the guy that actually owns the bike is needing close to 5 grand for it.:eek:A pity as it was very nice. Also saw a honda dax 70,I used to have one and sold it for 40quid!!

So i am home now thinking about getting a classic trial bike .Anyone got something for me?

Back in the day, I took ages to decide if I wanted a new XL250 or a Suzi TS250, the Honda was about £100 dearer at around £1,150 brand new but in the end I bought the TS250 as I liked the 2-stroke better and I wanted a yellow one:D Both these bikes are now classics and go for mad money as you saw today Doyle:comfort

christ Doyle its a wonder you didn't do a 'trade in' You must have had that bike at least 3 months. :D lol See you on Friday at Dykeheed:thumb2

How queer......I was in AMS bikes in Wick this aft.

Paul (the shop owner) has Dax sat on the showroom floor, turns out it's the the same Dax I made an offer on a couple of years back..it was owned by a local nurse then. He's bought it for himself - pity, it's a cracking little bike.

Aye three speed ,folding bars, you could have it with you at all times:D,very collectable seemingly, and not easy to buy.

Mind you Lee ,you would look a bit daft on one:rolleyes:
