Ok, read up here on tyres and i'm about to try the conti road attacks....why?

the bike has dunlop 607's (trailmax?) from new & the rear has just done 6000 & is ready to change, with the front looking ok

I've also got the new Triumph sprint st 1050cc now with 12000 on it but

1st rear tyre (bt020) lasted 1900 miles
2nd rear tyre (bt020) lasted 2500 :eek

then my pocket ran dry, so on went a new but cheap pair of BT 57's ( £100 )
fine :thumb but not as stable as the 020's, yet another european tour later - down to the markers

then it was suggested i try the "new" continental road attacks - as good as my origional impression of the 020's BUT with about 3500 miles on them & they're not worn out yet . :thumb

i mostly ride 2 up & the tours are with 3 panniers, motorways about 80-90mph & smoothly in the twistys as the missus hates heavy braking - front forks on the sprint dive a lot - hence the GS

Anyone else tried these tyres?

oh yes about £170 fitted for a pair - i can't seem to get 020's for less than £210- £230 a pair

I have made enquiries as I also want to try Road Attacks, but am told they wont be ready in GS sizes for another couple of months.

Not tried them on my GS, but I have them on my 2004 Sprint ST. They are doing very nicely thank you, I am very impressed.
