Roadlok Europe Introduction | Here to Support UK BMW Riders

I can produce a time stamped picture of my bike and it’s Roadlok on the barren plains of Mars or sitting in downtown Delhi, in under 30 seconds.
Surely, Richard, you are not SERIOUSLY getting that sort of mileage for a tank on either your bike(s) OR your new camper?!

Good morning,

We are currently onboarding new dealers across the UK, and we're pleased to announce that our new website is now live.
You can find our current authorized dealers here: https://roadlok-official.co.uk/dealers-store-locator/
We are actively expanding our dealer network to improve availability and service for BMW Motorrad riders and other motorcyclists throughout the UK.
If you know of any dealers who may be interested in adding Roadlok to their product range, we would greatly appreciate an introduction. We are keen to welcome new dealers across the UK and continue growing our network.

Kind regards,
Roadlok UK Team

I'd prefer to buy thing online.
Have thing delivered.
Fit thing.

It's not a complicated scenario, and worked for my Rocket 3.

The new website doesn't give you the option.
What's happening with the other site, with the online shop?

Thanks for the feedback. The webshop at roadlokuk.co.uk isn't going anywhere and you can still order online for direct delivery as before. The new roadlok-official.co.uk website is part of a wider move towards a more consistent Roadlok presence across the UK and Europe. As we're expanding our dealer network, we wanted a central platform with the same look, product information and support structure used in other countries. We're also actively working on new features and improvements behind the scenes, so you'll see the platform continue to evolve over the coming months. In the meantime, if you simply want to buy a Roadlok online, the webshop remains the fastest route. Thanks for the support!Roadlok UK Team

Having found the roadlok.co.uk website unresponsive to a couple of requests for advice, I recently contacted the USA team to help me with getting the BMW fitting kit having used the Roadlok on a Ducati previously. They directed me to the new Roadlok-official.co.uk website and the dealer search facility. The lead me to place in Northampton (BIK Performance). I ordered the parts kit online and they arrived a few days later.

Surely the scrotes would run out of oxygen just breaking the steering lock if on Mars ?

Or Delhi actually thinking about it ……

I’ve covered thousands of miles , using Roadlock on my MTS .
Issues are ;
1) The disk holes are drilled ( bike obviously ) such that considerable rotation is required to perfectly align and engage the locking pin . This is sometimes an issue in a location where movement causes one end of the motorcycle to exit the parking area.
2)Especially , when on a slope , the disk grabs very hard onto the locking pin, making it impossible to pull out without assistance.
All tolerable though . Just reporting .

Nice bit of advertising came up for you on my instagram today. Couple of scumbags popped the disc lock off a GS and then can’t move it. As they dump it and walk away I spotted the yellow tag from a roadlock.

Hope mines never needed but nice to see it was too much effort for them to bother dealing with!

Thanks for sharing!

It's never good to see a bike being targeted, but we're pleased the thieves decided it was too much hassle and moved on.

That's exactly what Roadlok is designed to do: make theft more difficult and less attractive.

Hopefully you'll never need yours, but it's nice to know it's there. 🔒🏍️

Ride safe! 👍

Thanks for your feedback and for sharing your experience.

On most motorcycle models, engagement is very smooth, and the locking pin will usually align and drop into the brake disc after just a few centimetres of wheel movement.

The pressure on the locking pin that you describe is normal when the weight of the motorcycle is resting against the wheel, particularly when parked on an incline. On level ground, this is generally not an issue.

One tip I can share: if there is pressure on the pin, try turning the handlebars fully to the right before unlocking. On my own motorcycle, this helps reduce the load on the pin and makes unlocking much easier when parked on a slope.

Thank you again for sharing your experience. Feedback like this is greatly appreciated by us and by many other riders in the community.

Ride safe! 🔒🏍️👍

Hi, The bike theft that failed video happened in Berkeley Square in Bristol and this is the third such event that I can remember happening here in the last couple of years! This is a designated motorcycle parking area and a known theft hotspot, yet Bristol City Council don't provide any sort of rail etc to help secure your bike. Luckily the Origin Office across the road have moved their private security camera to cover it so you can at least watch your bike being stolen...

Anyway, back to Roadlok, I am big fan and have used this product for the past decade on various BMWs and KTMs. It does require regular cleaning and lubrication and on only one occasion, to date, has it left me stranded when I was unable to remove the pin as the lock mechanism jammed due to bit of grit being stuck inside it.

I always use it in conjunction with another lock e.g. a Hiplock and/or chain as part of a layered defence approach. It is easy to fit and carry about and very hard to remove by a thief. Overall, a great piece of kit, thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for your kind words and for being a loyal Roadlok user for the past decade. We're sorry to hear Berkeley Square continues to be a theft hotspot, but we're glad our lock helped make this theft attempt unsuccessful.
You make an excellent point about layered security. Roadlok is designed to be a strong first line of defense, and combining it with a quality chain or additional lock provides even greater protection. We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding maintenance. Regular cleaning and lubrication help ensure reliable operation in all conditions.
Thanks again for your continued support and for sharing your real-world experience with fellow riders. Ride safe!

I saw yesterday that Roadlok now has Sold Secure Diamond status

Hi,
Thank you for noticing! We’re very proud that Roadlok has now achieved the Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond rating, the highest level available for motorcycle security products.
What makes Roadlok unique is that it's always with the bike, making it incredibly convenient to use every day. As Bennetts recently said, "The best lock is the one you use" and we couldn't agree more.
Thank you for your support, and ride safe!
