Hi all

Currently I have a pea pod... which has been with me for 20 yrs and is standing up really well..

However, after my recent camping expedition, I have come to the conclusion that its too small and too cramp and fancy a shiny new tent...

So, what do I want from a tent...

1) 2 to 3 man... gives me more room for my gear :thumb

2) I fancy one with doors on the side... this way I can keep a door open if its raining and not get my porch soaked :thumb

3) spacious (well more spacious) porch area for cooking and general spaciousness :thumb

So, I saw someone here who had bought the Robens Fortress...

What are they like?
Any good?
Worth the £200 price tag?
Whats the zippable tarp in the porch like?

Cheers muchly in advance :thumb2:thumb2:thumb2

Had my Robens for about 4 yrs now. Well please with it . I think mine is the Hikers Caslte though.

Sir Burton is the only other person i've seen camping in a Robens .

His is bigger than mine so I had huge tent envy when I saw his big erection at Skye last year.:(

Just got back from a trip with a Robens light dreamer and am impressed with the quality:thumb2
