Afternoon all,

Had a small spill before Christmas on sheet ice getting to work, and it's cracked my already crap right hand rocker cover that was crashed on by the previous owner, now I need a new one.

Anyone know if they're interchangeable between models and sides? Could I, for example, buy a left-hand R1150R cover and bolt it to the right of my R1100GS? It's a 1999 model.

Cheers!

They are interchangeable between lots of models, but you might run into a problem with an upside down oil filler even if it otherwise fitted, those things can leak enough when the right way up :augie motorworks or Sherlocks should have used ones.

Tom,
If it's a single spark, then any 1100 or early 1150 wil be OK.
If it's a twin spark, then the coil/ign stick cover is shaped differently, but should still fit.

+1

I have a bad 2001 1150 RT blown engine in the garage that I keep only for the heads that fit my '95 1100 RT ;)

Dan.
