Is it possible to shim the rocker shaft without removing the clinder head.

What am thinking is, if I remove the two outer clinder head nuts will it warp the head. I know you suppose to remove the head nuts in a crisscross pattern???

So if a wanted to shim both rocker shafts there would be only two(top/bottom) head nuts holding the head in place. Would this warp the head????::blast

No. People often remove the head & barrel this way... if you don't want to replace the head gasket. done it a couple of times meself with out probs.
