I bought one of these in grey last year and used it mainly in the Picos sat on the terrace drinking G and T .
But I also used it on my recent trip to Spain , worn under my Bering Goretex jacket in place of the thermal liner .Then again in the evening to keep the chill at bay .
These jackets are very light and quite thin but also very warm so use on and off the bike .

Bit of a loud colour which will put many off 😜

Just bought their Brora jacket which is similar but fleece, instead of down
Wanted something as a mid layer and will work under bike jacket too

I too have a Bora jacket, half price in the sale but a very bright blue.
Usual Rohan excellence but my favourite of the last few years in my tired Mistral jacket. Like the Bora but a bit heavier.

Nice find, shame about the colour though.
👍
I think it’ll look great under my black Bering jacket .
I’ve got three of their fleeces. One is a fairly mundane blue but the green and orange ones are very bright

Unless I missed the small print,
You might want to add a PRICE……
I thought that too till I realised the link takes you to Rohans sale page on their website. This is more of a recommendation than a for sale advert. My issue is I like to try things on rather than buy online due to having a skinny body but long arms.

Ahhhhhhhh…….no bargain here then…..omg……
For sale is for sale….well you never seize to be astounded 😕:D

Cease the day !

As with Biggles, I like clothing which can double up, used for more than ‘Just on the bike, mate’.

I don’t need another layering jacket / fleece. But if I did, then the item linked to might well do a pretty decent job.

PS No doubt it’ll be possible to get one for a tenner from China…. It always is :augie

Funny that, some choose not to pay much attention to what they are actually looking at 🙄, but are of the mark to comment in a split second following a gun fire.

Don’t mind the colour at all, but I do dislike hooded clothing. Especially the bulk it would be adding around my neck under the bike jacket. Good find though 👍🏻

Didn’t add any noticeable bulk

Looks an excellent piece of kit, also with your endorsement a bargain..Reminds me of the USAF Air Crew jackets, with a bright orange lining made to be reversible if they went down in the Pacific or wherever.
I generally use black jackets so handy as a thermal liner, and if you ever breakdown and faffing on the Hard Shoulder trying to get a signal well worth the extra visibility..👍

The M&S feather jackets are what I carry for the cooler trips. Luckily not needed it so far this month in Spain.

Spot on. Old geezers should never wear anything with a hood and if they have to, never use the hood.

I am hardly old at 43, but just dislike hoods for always getting in your way. I sooner will wear a dedicated hat.

same

I use a fleece with a collar that is just big enough to sit proud of the collar of my Rukka jacket to partially seal the gap between jacket and helmet, without completely sealing a bit of airflow into the helmet.

Downside with artificial insulation, as opposed to feathers is additional bulk. Not too noticeable when worn but things with artificial insulation generally don't pack up as small. Depends on how big your panniers are I guess...
