Well.... I started thinking about it 3 years ago following a conversation with a friend, we both used to be into high end HiFi and record buying when we were students, but realised that these days ease of use was top of our list rather than aural purity, and older ears. So a change from analogue to digital, the individual system HiFi has gone, replaced with a Mac Mini used as a media server to a Naim Muso. I've spent the last year transferring vinyl to the Mac, real time recording!

It's taken 3 years to come to the decision to sell stuff, it's a big deal. I still have a turntable, though just a modified NAD 533 these days rather than a Linn Sondek, and will maybe keep a handful of LPs special to me.

Edit...
And selling through UKGSER feels a bit more personal, stupid really, but rather than the record shop. I wasn't going to due to the faff factor.

I haven't gone down your road yet, but it has been crossing my mind recently. 😔

Nad 533 is a really nice deck and for the price just ridiculous. Runs an Ortofon 2m well (with the arm vta spaces )
