I've posted enough shite for now... But it was a good event and it was free.. where else would you see so many pricless bikes up close for that money:aidan

ha ha, you even got some of my suzuki dealership and the Splash in the window! pity you didn't get the signage in to give us some PR :D

we had to clear out from work early as we'd have been blocked in until after the event. i couldn't make it due to other commitments, but it looked like it was shaping up to be a good event. thanks for taking the time to post the photos.

That was great Gary. :thumb2

Only that I was away on the Boreen Run I would have run up to that. :blast

Thanks for the pics. Lovely stuff. :)

Aye thats the one I ended up scewing the carb back on for him at the end of the straight when he ran off

I'll try my photos later

Anyone own up to wearing a Blue Twat suit walking do to the town from the carpark where the 2 chippy vans and the dippin doughnuts were?

I was in the Black white camo Draggins and the dark red savanna II jacket?

Not really American. It might well say Aermacchi Harley Davidson on the tank but that's just because HD and Aermacchi had a commercial merger in 1960. Aermacchi had by then been producing the flat singles since the mid 50's. Following this commercial merger and the rebranding, the bikes continued to be built in the Varese factory in Italy.

Class pix there Tuned In........................
class bikes too!!!!!!!!
Brian Reid never changes.............good man in his day too...................

:thumb2

thanks for the pics - thoroughly enjoyed this event in the Toon. It's great to be able to see and hear these class bikes up close. Hope its on again next year!

Wish I knew about that night, looks like it was fun.

Joey Dunlop had his 250 bikes sponsored for many years by Bertie Payne (RH Payne Bitmac). Bertie died suddenly several weeks ago. He has one of Joeys helmets in the house and his own RC30 (painted in late 80's Castrol colours). A real roadrace fan, he'll be sadly missed.
