My son has just returned from an apparently great holiday in California. While there he took loads of photos and a few videos on his camera.

Problem is he took a couple of the videos while the camera was in portrait.

Question: is there an application which can rotate the video? Pain watching the vids with my neck crooked over...

Short answer is yes, slightly longer answer is still yes but how to do it depends on the file format & whether you have access to PC or MAC for editing

Download a free 30 day trial of Corel Videostudio.

See this video of how to do it at around 2:40

what computer do you use? cos it's bound to have either movie maker or imove on it that'll allow you to basic work on the file such as rotate...

guess so it'll have to render out....:thumb

you need to import the clip into the project line, then put clip handles around the piece you want drag that up to your active project line. (subject to your layout) It'll give you tools in the new clip these you can use to twist the clip around.... best of luck...
