My 54 plate 1200GS got rear ended on Wednesday and will no doubt be a write off. The rear drive shaft is snapped, front forks bent and the rear sub frame exhaust and front beak mullered. Pre collision it was mint, so the question is what should I be expected to get back on it. I've looked on line and found several in similar condition for over 6k so expect to have to spend this amount to replace my bike.

They will try and give you what it says in the book! You need to haggle.

Take copies of ALL the expensive ones and provide these as examples of bikes actually for sale, which can be very helpful.
