I've ridden in that area a couple of times, though not sure about exactly those routes. They are fantastic roads. I saw the WRC on telly many years ago, tracked down the routes, then planned them into circular day trips (we were staying for a few days in Tortosa). They resurface the roads for the WRC week, so the surfaces were perfect.
I have to say that given a choice of one region to have a biking holiday, I'd go for Catalunya.
A story I've told before...
We were riding from Flix to La Bisbal de Falset on the T-703. I was on my R1150GS (Conti Road Attack tyres - fantastic) and it was a perfect late summer's day. The road was just perfect for a GS - hardly any straight bits, lots of ups and downs, great road surface. It was one of those days when I was riding like a god - absolutely in tune with the bike and surroundings, faster than a very fast thing, throwing it around with supreme confidence.
After a while, I spotted another couple of bikes in the distance - initially across a little valley. "Yippee!" I thought "A target to chase." The first bike was a couple riding gently on a Honda Deauville. I caught them easily (hardly surprising) and passed them with a cheery wave. The second bike took a lot more catching! It was harder and harder to keep up, let alone catch, but I sensed that I was gradually closing in on it. With renewed vigour and concentration, and by now beginning to sweat in the heat with the effort of throwing me and my super steed round increasingly twisty and steep roads, I chased down my quarry.
Eventually, I was within a hundred yards or so, although as the road was so twisty there were still only occasional glimpses. Eventually I caught up and overtook. It was a bloke on a 250 scooter - open faced helmet, t-shirt and shorts, flip-flops, and a bag of shopping between his knees.
Maybe I wasn't a riding god after all...
