dear all
it looks like i've got to make an impromptue trip to france in a week, and the cheapest way seems to be to hop on the GS and get there and back as quick as poss.
can't afford a GPS yet (She tells me !) so does anybody know where i can get one of those devices that attaches to the handle bar and looks like a clear box with a roll of old fax paper in it that you write down your route and notes and 'scroll' the paper round as you go ?
i hope that describes what i mean !
any other suggestions for easy route finding would be welcome as i only have a few days to sort myself out or else its a case of stopping at each junction and getting the map out of the top box.
