RouteBuddy mapping software Any good?

I use a Mac and iphone and looking at mapping software and be able to import OS maps. Used to use Memory Map on PCs which was quite good but want something that I can use for walking trips particularly and not be reliant on a data connection. Use a Garmin Zumo and Mapsource for bike so less interested in the GPS facility just want the ability to have OS maps on my iphone.

Does anyone have any experience of RouteBuddy. Looks possibly good but seems very expensive or am I missing something. Maps cost around £20 a sheet but you also have to buy the software for about $99 so I'm not so sure its a goer. Interested in any views.

Memory map has an iphone app that lets you use your memory-map os maps on the iphone.

The idea of building RouteBuddy came about when I got fed up not being able to import/export prepared routes or exported tracks from my Garmin, when on long-distance biking holidays, hence our initial concentration on worldwide road maps.

In 2009 RouteBuddy were the first to launch Ordnance Survey maps onto the Mac and iPhone and offer the lowest price/map software package for all users of iPhones, iPad and on Mac OS X. (All the other vendors charge you a higher price for the maps and/or reduced functionality.)

We also have a special offer running at the moment of RouteBuddy 2.6 so maybe worth a look.

Note that RouteBuddy 3.0 is also due for launch in Q2 with a lot more features, and special upgrade offers will apply for existing users.
