Routes in south west Scotland?

Hi folks,

Can anyone recommend me some great routes in the south of Scotland? In the past I`ve only used this area to drive through on the way up north & never really took any ride outs there with having such good roads here in the lake district. There must be some rides worth doing here!
Any ideas much appreciated
