Does anyone have any experiences or opinion othe RST adventure 2 jacket and trousers. I'm on the market for some new gear and the RST gear seems reasonably priced?

I have the suit and found it fine. I took the head staggers and bought a Rukka Armas suit which gets used the majority of the time.

It is good value and reasonably waterproof. Just when I put in on after the Rukka it feels like I'm wearing an outfit made of tissue paper :aidan

I have the jacket which I wear in the summer over summer leather trousers because it's got superb ventilation. I don't use it all in the winter because I prefer water to stay outside my kit rather than soaking through the first layer before it hits the waterproof layer - I can put up with this for a warm shower in summer but who wants to carry around several tons of sodden cloth in the cold? :nenau

Also, the way the jacket and trousers zip together means that your jacket's waterproof layer gets rucked up above waist level and there will be a gap left between the jacket's waterproof liner and the trouser = cold and wet midriff.

It's not bad kit for the money, and you're not going out in all weathers it should be fine; if you are, however, I'd keep looking! :augie
