I've got a couple of bits for sale for a 12 RT.

Sergeant heated seats, front & rear -£300
BMW tank bag - £100
BMW Holdall to fit BMW top box - £30.

Everything is 2nd hand but in excellent condition.

Due to the size of the items it's a pick up only & cash only arrangement I'm afraid. Sorry.

tankbag

Hi

I would like the tankbag (if available) but as I live in Bristol I am not able to get to Lincoln, any chance you post it for a small fee?

Thanks

Mike

I would love first dibs on the top box bag but again it would have to be posted to gloucester, is that doable ? at my expense of course

Don't see why not - It's not particularly heavy if slightly big. Again I'll try to get the price asap & come back to you.

Would you be willing to split the seats - I am after a rear seat (assuming it is the standard height all black)?

Thanks.

How old are the seats? Do they use the OE heating connectors?
What are they like, do they improve comfort?

regards.

Just done the same thing and postage on the tankbag was approx £12.00 signed for delivery with up to £100.00 insurance. (Royal Mail)

Sold mine through Ebay but decided to keep the Seargent seat and bar raisers in case I dont like the GSA......

Gorila - Seat are supremely comfortable - they feel strange to start with because they are wider and more supportive but they are excellent for comfort in all weathers (old seat is hard to get on with in hot weather...)
If you ride with BMW seat on high you only need to be on low with the Seargent.
Not OE fitting for heat but it is a simple connector replacement - anyone with limited diy knowledge can do the change.
Best bit of kit I bought and I think I am kidding myself that I wont need one for the GSA.

Thanx Riktus, appreciate it. I've got to admit I'm hoping that I won't need to replace the seat on my new GSA but suspect I will. I'm hoping that all the current GSA riders will change up to an LC when it's released thus providing a glut of sargeants for us to take our pick from.

I can certainly confirm that the seats are absolutely brilliant, for me anyway, & make the RT even more comfortable thanm it already is - in fact I could travel further & for longe,r in far more comfort on the RT than I can in my car.

With regards to the heating element connection I bow to Riktus' knowledge there - :bow, I've never used/connected them so they are still virgin in that respect.

Good news & bad news I'm afraid chaps.
I've been quoted £12 to post the tank bag & £5 to post the top box bag by the Post Office. Unfortunately they no longer do C.O.D (in fact they hadn't even heard of it) so I'm not quite sure where we go from here?
I don't have any plans to head West any time soon otherwise I'd drop them off given that you're close neighbours.

Try parcels2go it will cost you about £6 for the tank bag.
They will collect from your home and you can track it.
The post office are taking the piss with their charges.

Ref my dibs on the top box bag...I can PayPal gift you the cash so you have payment up front. You will need to track it with post office...I just sold a few bits and two went missing, the post office were less than helpful !

Aye, I'm sure the prices quoted included tracking. Unfortunately I don't do Paypal, had my fingers burnt with them twice & won't use them any more.

Sorry to be so difficult. This is why I suggested collection only when I 1st posted the items.

Nevermind, I am sure you will find someone more local to buy the tankbag.

Thanks for finding out the postage.

I'd be interested in your seats.
Have to do postage. Happy to pay for DPD, Parcelforce or whatever premium service you're happy with.

Can send money straight to your account so no Paypal.
