Ladies, gentlemen, traders and private individuals alike, I am told that when changing gear on an RT a smoother or less clunky change is possible by preloading the gear lever FIRST and THEN dipping the clutch to effect the change. I do apologise if this seems a ridiculously stupid post, but acting on info received (officer) I thought I would ask.
if this is all bollocks and all I would do by following the above advice is knacker the gearbox or gear lever or selecters then i just wont do it and will put up with the "CLUNKKKKKKKKK" when changing gears.

Do you know if the ABS on an "R" plate R1100RT is servo or non servo?????
