M180 North Lincs yesterday about 1700hrs, saw what i thought was a old style RT but as it passed in the opposite direction I'm pretty sure it was an LC RT. It was only about 20 miles from the BMW GB RDC at Thorne so i suppose it's possible..... Quite often see the new cars being taken up the motorway to the next junction for a bit of a road test.

The fairing seemed a hell of a lot bigger, sticking over the front wheel which is what made me think it wasn't a 'normal' one.
Anybody else seen it?

Most dealers have been running the new models for a couple of weeks to get them run in for the launch.:rob:thumb

The dealers have them now and I took one out last weekend; it's great. Pretty quick as well

I am going to Balderstons launch day this Saturday, think I have already decided when my current bikes warranty runs out I will go for the LC version.

Quality has definitely gone out the window then.

I was washing my 10 year old 1150 at the weekend which I commute every day on through summer & winter and noticed that I do not have one spot of corrosion on any aluminium anywhere, (and I've never bought a tin of AC50 whatever that is).
Just a few pock mark stone chips on the front of the fork legs.

Saw it again last night, the lights do stand out but not sure about that fairing 'in the flesh'- it looks like it needs moving back a foot! The bike would probably look more balanced with panniers and a top box sticking out the back.
