RT LC tank bag

After using and loving my tank bag on my current 2013 RT, I may be swapping for an RT LC which can't use the bag off my bike.

Any suggestions for a replacement bag ?

I have a BMW tank bag for RT WC I had it on the bike for the ride home but not used it since say £120 plus postage

Don't bother, the new top box is so big you won't need it.

The replacement system has a nonsense strap on arrangement (ooh err missus etc) and isn't worth the hassle.

Don't Givi do one which has a mount on the fuel cap? Not used one, but sounds potentially better than a strap system?

As 'puggy', I went for the large top box and love the space...at a price. Plus its so nice to be able to get off the bike and whilst walking away, press the central locking button...no faffing about with zips / pockets etc on tank bags.
I simply use the little compartments on the bike for small items, coins etc, everything else goes into the panniers, top box or my jacket pockets. Plus I think the RT LC looks so much nicer without anything strapped on.
Focus on your swap, the new RT is totally Awesome! I'd worry about the tank bag later....

No straps with the Givi, just a QD locking ring. Givi topbox can also connect to central locking, is cheaper (bar far) than the rip off BM one, looks better IMO and can be swapped between bikes (was on my '11 plate RT before waxed).

Any links for the top box, been on their site and can't find anything that fits the LC model that does central locking. Agree that the BMW top box is way over priced.

If you are fitting an SW Motech/Bags connection, the tank ring is the same as the 1200GS LC, the K1300s and the Multistrada.
If you have the old style SW motech connector, the old tank ring is now cheaper £15! and in black.
