RT Top Box Lid

Morning All,
Does anyone know if there is a lid I can get for my RT's top box to increase it's capacity? I find the shape of the current one is very restrictive as the contours make it difficult to get my work bag in. I'd like one that has a flat lid. I've attached a picture of the original so you can see what I mean.

When I bought my R1100RT, I did not have a top-box. I took one look at the BMW offering and ....... bought a Givi.

Throw the damn thing out or advertise it on Flea-bay.

The Givi or Kappa or similar will easily carry a large laptop etc., can be transferred from bike to bike and you will get years of use from it.

The 49litre BMW box, which costs and arm and a leg and 2 bo**ocks, will not fit your bike anyway.

I've got a nice big Givi on the GS that been on several bikes and I don't mind switching it between it and the RT.

RT came with the BMW top box and panniers and I'd prefer to keep all three simply because of the ease of using just one key. I just thought there would be a larger lid I could buy considering Givi sell different sized lids.

I'll have to go and ask BMW and see if it was ever offered as an option.
