Evening all,

I know there are some for 1200/1250 pegs, but no idea what will fit the F850GSA pegs. My left, very expensive Daytona boot's sole is getting minced... wondering does anyone know of an aftermarket drop-in/clip on rubber insert for the 850 like is available for the boxer GSAs?

Tanx like.....

Well, I can confirm that the Cymarc 3d printed footpeg inserts, designed for 1250GSA will fit the 850GSA pegs no bother.

Happy boots now.

That’s great you’re sorted. I had the Wunderlich footpeg rubbers fitted to a GS with the enduro foot rests and they were very effective/comfortable. Is the Cymarc footpeg insert surface as ‘pointy’/sharp (and therefore potentially uncomfortable under foot) as it looks in photographs? Thanks.

Not sure to be honest as I've only just clipped them on in the shed. Haven't had a chance to use them in anger yet....

The "pyramids" on the grip pattern are flat-topped and not actually pointed. I thought I was buying rubber bits until they arrived and realised they were 3d resin. They come with zip ties to ensure they don't fly away, I found the ones supplied were a bit tight to thread through so used some narrower ones from my own stock.

I thought the Wunderlich ones were only for their aftermarket pegs. I didn't realise they did ones for the BMW pegs until after I'd ordered the Cymarc ones. Not that I think they would be any better, but I'd have saved the Brexshit customs charges.....

Thanks for that.

Yes, the material used appears to me to be ‘unforgiving’ and potentially uncomfortable and that has caused me, for the moment, to delay purchasing them.

However, I acknowledge I have no first hand experience of them and hence why I was interested in your opinion regarding comfort etc. Once you get trying them out it would be good to hear of your experience with them, thanks.

I got on great with them. Yes they are hard but no harder than the bare metal pegs and no damage to my boots. After the first long spin I never noticed them again and forgot they were there.

However as I've just bought a 1250GS they are now surplus if anyone is looking for a set.

In the end I went with the Wunderlich peg rubbers again. However, good review/info regarding the Cymarc alternatives, thanks.
