Hi
i have had the new Armas jacket for a month now, seems a good jacket, but that magnetic neck strap is crap compared to the velcro on my old Armax any body else think that and has anybody come up with a way to stop the flap flying open all the time, £900 quid Jacket should be better then that....

I know what you mean Dave, but just make sure you don't wear a lot round your neck... shirts with collars etc all bulk it up. I had this problem still can do, if i've got too much round my neck. Bit of care fastening up and it's great :thumb

That's why the most recent production of the Armas has got a velcro closure instead of the magnet. Maybe you could ask for a replacement under warranty?

Hi

Got on to infinity, who got on to rukka they are going to replace magnet storm flap with velcro,All new jackets come with velcro now, but i have got to wait 6 weeks for it to be returned, Am pleased that rukka are changing it for free, but i have only had the jacket a short while and i feel that i should have been given a new one with velcro and not older stock, since they knew there was a problem. But it is being sorted which is the main thing. thanks chaps

Good result and I'd think of doing the same with mine, but I can't be without my jacket for 6 weeks. I don't have another one to wear in the meantime. For now I'll continue living with it as I ride every day.

the shop must have had that jacket in stock for some time, i bought my armas back in september 2010 and it had velcro fastening. when i asked why it wasn't the magnetic closure the shop told me all the new ones had been replaced with velcro

Hi

Rukka will lend you a jacket while yours is away. infinity southhampton were arranging mine, but i found a Hein jacket i used to wear stored in back of cupboard, all the best

You mean you've got a £900 jacket with nothing else in the cupboard??? :eek

I'm a 38" chest, so not very tosser sized.

Good to know Rukka can arrange loan gear, will look into that.

Yes, have one single high quality riding suit that I use year round. Other than a few warm days in the summer when I think I'd like something without Goretex I just use the same thing all the time, which is why I spent a lot of money on it, though the entire suit (armas jacket and troos) cost me £1020, I got a very good deal from Bikerland.de.
