I was speaking to Tranam yesterday, the UK importer of Rukka gear and they confirmed that Rukka will no longer make the ArmaS suit for 2017 onwards and there is no longer a fully CE rated suit which conforms to the PPE requirement for professional riders. I know the ArmaS is not perfect but it's the only off the shelf Gortex kit that I know of that is PPE compliant. Only other option is the Hideout bespoke gortex suit. Rukka's new 2017 range is not CE rated for the whole suit, only the protection inserts. Great shame in my view!

Rukka was the ultimate bike kit IMHO, however, now it appears that you are paying premium prices not for kit designed and made in Finand but instead you are now paying the same premium prices for Finnish designed kit made in China.

What next Triumph motorcycles made in the Far East or BMW motorcycles made in India..................... a good reputation hard earned can easily get flushed down the crapper

I had a bad experience with Tranam recently which gave me to wonder if the Rukka bubble is about to burst.

Infinity Motorcycles are selling the Armas jacket for £899 ( with yellow shoulders and elbows ) .. that is £200 cheaper. If you want one get it now before they sell out.

I was hoping Rukka would renew the Armas without the awful gore lockout system. It would then be my first choice when replacing my current worn out suit.
