Hi, Does anyone know if the Rukka armatech jacket has a zip at the bottom which can be used to connect to trousers? I am waiting delevery of one but am going to Heine Gericke tommorow to buy some trousers.

Not sure what one i have but it does say armaprotection on the sleeve and it does have a zip for trs and a crutch strap, which i'd never noticed before, old me.... :o

mines a rvp pro with a zip which i think they all have. but beware buying trousers before you know the zip pitch as a lot of the manufactures use different sizes and pitches

I have a Rukka RVP jacket and its zip does NOT fit the one on my Gericke leather pants.

My Rukka has a fairly chunky plastic YKK zipper while the Gericke pants use a smaller tooth metal YKK.

Thanks for your replies, I went to Heine Gericke today and bought the master trousers which are bibs or salopets which will solve any potential problems.

I have had my seamstress mum (hi mum!) change two zips around in my BMW jackets (type 1 to type 2) as they are usually attached to some thin elastic. But is much more difficult to change/add a zip in trousers which requires sewing through rather thick fabric (and theoretically the waterproof membrane as well), possibly requiring an industrial sewing machine.
Ask Gericke to give/order you a compatible zip or, like many, give up on the zip together aspect.
