Rukka - Fade

I have had a Rukka Armax suit for a few years now and it never lets in a drop !

However the trousers have faded quite badly and was wondering if anyone had tried to dye them ?

Is this possible with Goretex ?

The Rukka rep I spoke to in Infinity said that if their stuff fades, send it back and you will get a new replacement. He said "we cant have our customers going around in pink kit like BMW riders", a point well made as I stood there in my pinkish Streetguard II kit.

Perfect time to exercise the 5 year warranty....call to a dealer, with your receipt on hand and get em sent back....

Had two Armax suits relaced by them so far both due to fading fabric. Great service - even sent me a label to put on the box and arranged and paid for the courier. Top company highly recommended

Have been in touch with Bikerland and they have sent out the returns label already

New Armas trousers will be on the way soon.

How do you find this suit mate, I really fancy one.
How well does the high collar work?
Do you need extra layers under say 13 degrees?

I tried the ArmaS on today, what a brilliantly thought out piece of kit.
Now have to work on batter half for my xmas present!

my Rukka Armas suit also suit faded to a washed out purple colour,
this happened over a three year period
i returned it to Rukka through Teesdales of thirsk who replaced it with a
new Armax completely gratis
top service from Rukka and Teesdales.

I had a set of Armadillo replaced for fading, but I waited till Tran Am had run out, so got a set of new Arganaught.

Its a bit off subject but, I did want the black ArmaS suit but next year will everyone from the UK touring france HAVE to wear high vis?
I heared it mentioned somewhere.
This might make me buy the dreaded hi vis colour instead
Anyone know for definite thanks?

My Armadillo gear turned brown and was replaced under warranty. what was amazing was that I was two months off the five year warranty ending and Rukka replace the whole lot with the new Arganaught gear ! What a result and thats what I call service.I have bought it through BikerLand as well and they were fantastic help.
