Just done a quick search but could'nt find anything relevant.

I've just bought a Rukka A-Tech jacket & on sunday I tried it out for the 1st time but not quite sure what to do with the sleeves/cuffs/gloves.

The sleeve cuffs are quite generous with zips & velcro fasteners, they seem to be uncomfortable & bulky to wear tucked in the gloves but very comfy over the glove, problem is I get a draft up my arms & I'm concerned also about water getting up there.

How do you wear yours ? What waterproof gloves ?

:)

Got to be honest...

......checked it wasn't April 1st before deciding this is a genuine question.:D

Actually, if the truth be known, I have had the same battle and it's not funny when it's pi55ing down at the peage and you're fumbling around with wet hands and wet gloves.

I gave a few people in cages a laugh as they watched me shouting and swearing having pulled over to the side once the transaction was done to fight with said item of clothing.

Anyway, in-sleave is a pig to sort out, particularly when trying to get the "second" glove inside. Outside tends to get some water in the glove.

:ymca

:aidan

Skip.

Same as Skippy, i ended up using BMW summer rain gloves all over this winter, i wear them outside the sleeve and so end up with damp/wet wrists if it rains hard, I can always get the first glove on OK but the second is a pain.

Shep

Over the gloves - they're far too bulky to wear inside.

I don't get drafts with the velcro and zip done up.

Little tip for you OLD BOYS ;) if its persiting down, get some diesel refuelling gloves from a forecourt and wear those as glove linners, makes it easy to put your gloves on when there a little damp.

Also, if you getting a draft up the sleeve, get some medical Tubigrip support bandage and gut a small tube to wear on your wrists, you can make them as thin or thick as you need, just don`t have them too tight.

I'm getting some Muffs!

Blox to all that, Muffs (aka Steptoe) for me next winter.

Second glove ??

I think over would be better too. But what about the water if it's pishing it down.

my a tech goes under my gloves. if it's really pissing down, i put overmits on, and yes, gloves can still get wet that way.
i keep meaning to try sleeves over, but never seem to get round to it.

muffs in winter of course :)

I've got a Rukka Steel Jacket and always wear the sleeves over my gloves. My summer gloves are a short wrist, thin pair of Alpinestars & my winter gloves are longer wrist Racer gloves. All bought from my friendly local Infinity shop.

wetness.

You silly boys., did'ent your mothers tell you not to go out in the rain!.
dave (inside glove) gs.

Still don't get wet - most of the time my hands are on the bars, and the handguards stop the water going up my wrists.

If you were on a naked bike I guess it might get tedious. In which case I'd just wear the HG which has an inner cuff.:thumb

Sleeves over gloves, never had a problem with water / wind getting in. The only downside is when you take your gloves off, your cuffs are wet.

It seems that sleeves over the glove sound favourite.

Need some decent gloves now, mine smell like an..............no I won't go there.

:D
