Run out of petrol

Low fuel light and range milage did not work. The bike ran out of petrol so had to push it. I was lucky I was only 500m from a garage.

My low fuel light hasn't worked for a long while now. I actually prefer it not working. Just set one of the trips at fill up - and fill before 120/130 miles.
The flashing warning used to really annoy me - flashing for 50 miles is too high a proportion of tank range. Would be better at 20 miles or so.

I know now to fill up each time, but my old bikes had a reserve and not to have that back up you tend to forget to look at the mileage or forget to change the milage counter when refueling

Customs Australia still ask if I have any criminal convictions when I go over there. As I keep saying to them I didn't know we still need a conviction to get in
