I have been trawling through the endless info on GPS. Admittedly I may have left it late as I wasn't going to get one.

Went to Comet (the salesmen didn't know which ones were water proof or suitable for a bike even)

Went to Halfords ( The salesman there knew Jack Sh*% )

Tried reading up on it all !!! Brains drying up, and I've go a 1000 other things pressing. HELP.....

I just want to:

1/Buy a bike to bike radio chat system, so I can comunicate with my Pal. & my pillion later, that may be compatable with these if thats poss.

2/Plug my mobile in ( which has bluetooth and MP3 apparently, got it yesterday) get calls or txt if possible. Music wuld be a benefiit (would buy a MP3 or Pod if compatable) I realise I'm so out of date on this shit.

3/Have an easy programmable system for routes in Europe.Or battery and charger if adequate (but I'm away for a month.

4/Have an easy connecting power supply for it, and a mounting kit obtainable within 7 days. I read about those options here.

If anyone here has been through this quagmire of technical time enveloping comparisons and can point me in the right direction I will be extremely grateful. Really. Truely. definately. absolutely.

Thanks chaps.

Garmin 2820, does everything you want now. Autocom or Baehr systems for your bike to bike, my preference is Baehr, Dutch will sort you out with 1st class service.

Check out the Accessories section in Useful Links on this site, there are numerous companies listed that do intercom systems with all of the functionality you need.

Autocom are used widely but are expensive, others like Intaride are establishing a reputation for good systems at a cheaper price.
