Cunning Fox was the first pished by 5pm and stayed that way until he wandered off into the darkness at 2am.
G.C. was a true professional

Lugs's pal turned into Bert Kwok after the pub shut and jumped me about 3 times which got a bit tiresome

G.C. Trickday and Bert Kwok tried to get to the mast at Bealach na bam and failed miserably

I took a run up to Gairloch on Friday and met up with Alte at the Old inn great grub and accom. Fired up to Scourie saturday morning then back down to AipleX to meet the Bam's couldn't have asked for better weather and company

Here's my contibution. What a brilliant weekend. Cheers tae HRH for organising it and tae all the Bams who turned up. My ribs are still sare fae laughin and a few tales were told and drinks were drunk. Whit a brilliant run up and back. My first time at Apfelkruez will deffo no' be my last.

I met Andi (Cunning Fox) at Kinross and we headed north via Glen Quiach.
Sheep avoidance and tight hairpins were a taster for what was to come later...

Nice wee road north to Fort William

We met G.C., Trickday and his mate Andy at The Lochy and then set sail for Applecross. A few photostops and fag breaks en route.

Cunning Fox got on the craic wi' a kilted piper. Turns oot that he's a Romanian who's discovered a better way of getting folks to part with their money than selling the Big Issue in Fort William.

Nearing Applecross, the scenery just got better and better

Well, most of the scenery did...

HRH Oonyack, Robmack and Alte Wolf were already on site and we were then joined by Doyle and his mate. The weather just cried oot for us tae get intae the bevvy afore tea time.

Cunning Foz should have remembered no tae dae a half bottle of Jura in four drinks oot a a tin mug. Youngsters nooadays, eh?

G.C. then got Pure Oystered Oot He's Nut and did a "It Aint Half Hot Mum" medley of music hall tunes. He's still got "Welly Marks" on his legs fae when he was a bairn

This was afore he did a "I Aint Half Pished Mum" routine after fa'in' doon a steep banking on oor way hame fae the pub.

The rest o' us were able to see oor way hame in the dark by followin' Johnny's shirt

There was a nice auld guy wi' learnin' difficulties in a nearby Wigwam. He kept maist folk awake a' night by thrashin' himsel' red raw. Why could his Mum no' hae bought him a jaikit that fitted? Feckin' shame so it was

You widnae ken that Trickday and Robmack had had a few drinks the night before

Applecross really is a braw part o' the country

A decent if very slow breakfast doon oor necks and then offski for the run hame. Did I mention the roads?

Home about an hour ago, guid laugh/roads n weather.
Not how I planned finishing the weekend, ma bike on the back o a recovery truck to Calterdons, clutch I think. Thanks to Kato and Trickday for cooking lunch and use of their mobiles while waiting for the AA .

I am however getting up tomorrow at 5am and catching the train to Guildford to collect my new steed!

We are heading over on Thursday to meet a few Tossers at the Green Welly before heading up to ApfelKreuz then on to the GotC on Friday. Sunday afternoon we will be in Stirling as Mandy wants to visit the castle and we have all day Monday to scoot about before heading to Troon for the boat.
