I am not at all impressed with Touratech uk. I ordered a few items from them in the past for my Africa Twin. They would turn up at the UK depot and they would just sit on them untill you hassled them to post them out. 
My mate who bought a new adventure cancelled his order for a pannier system as they kept saying next week deffinatly..... I told him about the EIBC panniers from Paul Cave and he went there.
Shame really because they are loosing a lot of buisness because of the bad experience people are having with them.

FWIW I just received my cylinder protectors from Touratech DE - I ordered them in June.
Proves it's not necessarily Touratech UK - looks like they have supply problems in general.
Shame, this is the first time in 5 or so years that I've had anything other than instant turn-around.
