Any ideas on how to run a heated vest on the new 1300? My 1250 had a din plug under the left side panel.

Just hook up the leads to the battery and leave the tail poking out where you can reach it.
This^^^^^

I use the fused SAE lead to connect my optimate 4 to the bike and have the same on my Airman too which bypasses canbus so won't cut out if the pump draws more than 5 amps. Though if you want to put a battery maintainer on the 1300 you'll need one that's compatible with lithium batteries

Would this work ok?

Perfectly. Straight onto the battery so doesn’t have any connection with the canbus
The CAN-bus does data comms amongst the controllers on the bike and has nothing to do with chassis electrics. That is a popular misconception. Chassis electrics are controlled by the ZFE.

Same solution here, Keis lead direct to the battery, poking out the side under the riders seat, runs my heated jacket and gloves fine.

Wired my Gerbing Jacket and gloves directly as above, worked over 4 years with no issues
Did try the DIN socket as it was just under the left leg, but the connection was never brilliant
The gerbing has a similar plug and works all the time, every time
