hi gents...just fitted my new engine now I'm running it in.
so...I know how to run an engine in my question is as I'm on standard gearing/sprockets what speed should I keep to in top gear? also is running in period 1000km ?
cheers in advance

I'd say don't keep it at any particular speed for any period of time. Just gradually built the revs up over time. Don't let the engine labour at low revs.
Some will say.. Don't worry about, just ride normally.

I think key is not to labour the engine by either accelerating from low revs or running into higher revs. No rev counter but you can feel when engine is relaxed but working. L2RKE right it’s about using the revs up and down and slowly building. Manual says 1000km and gives speeds in gears in km/h. I’ll try to attach photo of page 46
