Running Rough

My 2010 GSA is running worse at 4600KM.

In town it pops,farts,back fires,sloppy throttle response etc.
At steady RPM it is happy...embarrassing riding thru town.
Ideas?

I bought one for the 1200gs -10, and was so impressed i bought one for the HP2 too!

i think it could be all the factory de-tuning they do so the bikes pass certain emission and noise regs at certain speeds... My 2005 GS used to have a bit of a flat spot at sub 5k. Didn't really bother me as I never used anything up there for town pottering and if you get going, you tend to use the engine through the flat spot and beyond, so again it didn't really matter... ANd to be fair, in torque/driveability terms (compared to most 4pots) these boxers are second to none.

Farting and backfiring: they all do it Sir (have you noticed any difference of this bike to an older one or is this your first boxer 1200?)

Its only bad if it stalls, i.e is dangerous...

Did stall once.

Would installing the Accelerator Module in validate the warranty?

If not I will order one ASAP.
