Running sluggish, rattly, noises??

Drop a few gears and give it some beans.

How easy is it to tootle around in too high a gear when commuting or otherwise in slow traffic and then think she's not performing too well.

Took mine from Meltham over Holme Moss - B6105 through Hadfield, Mossley and back over the A635.

Totally spanked the bad girls arse, bouncing off the rev limiter, testing the ABS in some places.

Not saying I'm gifted or it was pretty but, by the gods can she go when provoked.

Awesome bit of kit.

Plenty of revs (if not bouncing off the rev limiter) is less stressful to the engine than too high a gear slogging it.
An extreme example but the old two stroke were never long lived. MZ 250 not as short lived as some but 50k = clapped out. Paddy Tyson (MAG) did 250k on one 250 engine by going everywhere flat out.
