Running Tempurature

Just curious, but do GSAs generally run hotter than GSs?

Only ask because one of the guys I know has a GS and it seems to run a lot cooler than my GSA. It's not a problem as far as I can see and I know that there are a lot of different factors to take into account, but I was wondering if there was a significant difference between the two?

the latest engine that GS got from 07 onwards has more power (10hp) and runs leaner and hotter. I think All GSAs had this motor (also on the R, the S and the RT and ST) from scratch in 06...

The leaner factor does not seem to make it run cheaper though.. My neighbour (on his R) and me on the 05 GS have pretty much identical commutes in Central London (8miles per day) and consume exactly the same fuel week in week out - abt 38-40mpg
