Well, seven riders turned out on a beautiful morning for the first of several off road excursions I'm planning this year. Only two BMWs though. Oh well.
The going was VERY easy apart from having to dodge through parts of Beruit. There really were too many burnt out cars and piles of fly tippings. In fact it was so easy that we had nearly covered the whole planned route by lunch time.
For lunch we had to make do with a pint of real ale. The Good Beer Guide let me down here. The entry said that they did food at the Cock inn at Luddesdown (SW of Rochester).
The afternoon was planned over said pint. We decided to keep going along the Pilgrims way/North downs way all the way to Ashford.
All over by 15:30ish.
See more of you next time I hope.
