Had an off last night with SWMBO on the back, just trying to stop on the hard shoulder near Enysford, couldn't see Jack S**t through the Tour-X visor, am gonna swap to Goggles again, might get cold cheeks, but at least I can see!
Thanksfully SWMBO is OK, just a bit of bruising on the knee, ripped one of the TT Panniers right off though! Bugger... bit bent, hope I can bang it back into shape again.

Madness really M20 full of snow, no gritters, get onto the M25 near enysford, and signs telling me gritting is in progress, but it was only raining! Adn still no gritters.

Anyone ever knocked a TT pannier back into shape got some tips?

What a bugger!!! I suppose that at least the only damage is minor, so to speak .... We were out around Wales, we had sun, rain, sleet and then topped off with blizzard snow for 15 mins, we wern't expecting that but at least no off's.

Hope you get the pannier sorted and the other halfs knee heels

Rubber mallet, lots of patience. It probably won't ever be waterproof again because of the 'O' ring in the lid.

I think some people have done some modifications using bits of rubber to make them waterproof.

I bought some Ortlieb bags with rectangular bases from TravelDri Plus Les will know what the size was but I think it was 'Large', then I bought some decent panniers that are designed to take some knocks (Metal Mule) and haven't had a problem since

Reminds me off the huricane we weren't going to get!! Can't they ever get the weather right? I cut the grass yesterday afternoon the missus was sitting in the garden reading her book next minute she said we better go in 10 minutes latter the lawn is completly white with hail stones

Sorry to hear your misfortune at least no major injeries. Bike's can always be fixed that's why we pay for insurance. So that they can then put your premium up with an excuse for doing it
