A lot of interest in brackets to mount the HID units so I am having made at the moment S/S laser cut brackets, look very much like the one in the picture but with extra support.

Will hold two ballast boxes or what ever you fancy, full add in the for sale section.

FYI

Check your fork clearance. I saw a post (which I'm trying to find) that had the bracket you have pictured and a picture of fork damage (cosmetic). With fork turned and compressed (he was offroad) the balast would hit the forks.

Got on fitted on mine and have no problem as I only have one ballast mounted, so the ones for sale now are improved as in the mount plate for the ballast is bigger to move the box away from the forks, so it will take two with no fear of hitting the forks :thumb2

Put you down on the order for one shall I :D

Sounds like you have it all sorted out. :thumb2

I have 4 ballasts on my GS Adv 2 on top of the headlight & 2 on a bracket I fabbed out of a piece of ali mounted under the beak. Winters are long here in Minnesota and even though I ride most winter I still get plenty of time to tinker.

I bookmarked your post in the for sale section, if someone is looking for a mount I'll send them your way.
